The greatest adventure is what lies ahead...
This isn’t about a photo session, or even the pictures, it’s about you and your love. Forget about posing and feeling stiff in front of the camera. My process is free and flowy, and my only goal is to capture your true selves. I like to combine a couple different styles during your day - mainly documentary style (capturing your day without interfering with posing) + traditional style (helping with posing and giving direction). Depending on the moment, I decide what approach makes the most sense. Bridal portraits + family photos benefit from direction, while your ceremony, cocktail hour and reception are best captured with a documentary approach. Let's capture the moment, not force it!

My approach
01.
Fill out the form
Once you’ve made up your mind, complete the form, and I will be getting back to you as soon as possible.
02.
Chat time
So everyone feels comfortable and accustomed to each other, we’ll have a quick call to discuss your needs and how I can help make your wedding the best day ever.
03.
Wedding day
The big day! We’ll meet, talk, connect, and get to know each other (that's also why I like to do an engagement session before the big day). The timeline will be written and the photo list ready! You relax and enjoy your day.
04.
Delivering photos
In 6-8 weeks, you will receive your edited online gallery. I try and send sneak peeks the day after the wedding - just to get you excited and tide you over until the full gallery is ready.
Do you shoot destination weddings?
Absolutely! I typically serve southern Ontario but I am ready and willing to travel where ever you need me! I also have a short list of places I'm willing to travel at a discounted rate if you're thinking a destination is in your future!
Will there be a second shooter?
That's up to you! I have packages with or without a second shooter, and we usually will determine your needs and wants during our consult stage of booking.
What is your photography style?
I like to combine a couple different styles during your day - mainly documentary style (capturing your day without interfering with posing) + traditional style (helping with posing and giving direction). Depending on the moment, I decide what approach makes the most sense. Bridal portraits + family photos benefit from direction, while your ceremony, cocktail hour and reception are best captured with a documentary approach.
What kind of gear do you use?
I'm a Canon girly. I use a Canon R6 Mark ii + Canon 5D Mark iv with various lenses. I also have a DJI drone that I use from time to time (weather permitting).
Do I have to order prints through you?
I deliver your photos through an online source called Pic-Time, and through that portal you are able to order prints, books, canvases - everything! If you need help with that, or would like something done custom, I'm happy to help.
Do you offer help with planning?
Since I am certified through WPIC I know a few tips and tricks for sure! I'm happy to give advice, and get you in touch with fellow vendors. I do like helping with the creation of the timeline for the day, as that is what helps create the flow for the day, and determines how much time we have dedicated to different aspects of the wedding.
